I Was Not Looking to Move

I did not have my mind set on moving to Florida at all. I was actually content where I was up north, but an opportunity came open and I knew that I had to take advantage of it. Sometimes, these opportunities come along several times, and other times it is a once in a lifetime shot. This was the latter, and I wasn’t about to miss out on it after giving it a lot of thought. Even though my job was going to take me to Tampa, I decided to look at apartments for rent in Temple Terrace.

The difference between Tampa and Temple Terrace is night and day. Tampa has over a quarter million people living there, while Temple Terrace is much smaller at not even 10 percent of that. I needed a much smaller pace for the town I live in, even if it meant that I had to face rush hour traffic nearly every day. That is a small price to pay to have the peace and quiet of a much smaller town to live in. I found a great apartment at The Lodge at Hidden Rivers.

After reading all about it, I knew that this was definitely going to be the nicest place I have ever lived. I will only have to travel into Tampa three or four times a week, meaning the other half of the week is open to all the activities that are either on the grounds of The Lodge at Hidden Rivers or within walking distance or a short drive. I actually have been able to walk to just about everything I do here. Even when I want to go to Lettuce Lake to canoe, I can walk there. I was not looking for this move, but I am so glad that it found me!
